Aqua Fun in the Sun!
The start of a new week is here, and with it has brought a fun filled day out at the adventure water park AQUALAND!
Campers were up early to make the 3 hour trip south to Le Cape D'agde, journeying through small villages, alongside rivers, and past vineyards and fields of sunflowers. Relief was felt once inside the park gates, with no time wasted to get into inflatable tubes and down the slippery slides, escaping the warm weather.
Favourite escapades of the day included the relaxed Rapids tube journey, the 3 person steep drop of Colorado, and the mean and extreme - The Wave!
Campers are given a lot more freedom in a day at Aqualand, asking them to take on respect for the environment and more responsibility for oneself. And as expected this vibrant group were outstanding in their behaviour, punctuality and attitude, making the excursion a great day out for all!
But each good day must come to an end, and now that everyone had got their fill of sweets and soft drink, it was back onto the bus to head back to camp, were a delicious light meal awaited.
