Summer Camp Ardèche, France

2nd July 2013

Living for the funshine!

Today was a sunny and hot day in the Ardeche! After a complete breakfast, the campers headed off to start an exciting and fun day full of activities.

The Goats teamed up to paint a beautiful flag and then hiked the mountain right above camp, where they stuck the flag and had lunch while enjoying the amazing views from the top. Then they enjoyed the afternoon doing some arts&crafts and playing football. The Toads spent their day in the river, learning basic skills and paddling through the fun rapids! The French magpies had French lessons and had picnic lunch under the blue sky, after which they set off for an afternoon full of adrenaline at the Indy Parc!

Dinner was received with great joy, as all of us were very hungry after this busy and fun filled day. The kitchen staff prepared a delicious meal that we all enjoyed very much! Secret Friends Box was opened and friendly messages from all the campers and staff were read aloud by Captain Snazzy and Elvis. The evening ended with an energetic Game of Stix, where the campers competed to obtain the other team's sticks.

Phrase of the day: If life gives you lemons, dance. And make lemonade!
