AM News:
Another beautiful day has rolled around in the Ardeche. Those temperatures are continuing to soar but we are making sure to keep well hydrated and protected from the sun.
After a delicious breakfast this morning and a fun tent inspection where the theme was to let your imagination do the talking, the campers were all set to head off on their day of adventures.
Our French Programme campers all donned their new VC t-shirts and headed off in their funmobile to check out the amazing and historic Caverne du Pont D'Arc which is a replica cave of Grotte de Chauvet where the oldest petroglyfs were found dating back to 38,000 years ago. We are all excited to hear about how they got on!
The River Programme campers all had the option to choose an adventure from a variety of activities for the day. We had some campers choose some adventurous rock-climbing in the cave, others braving the muddy waters of the underground cave while some headed off for an epic Via Ferrata session with a beautiful refreshing swim at the source of the Ardeche river to look forward to in the beautiful Thuyets.

What a fantastic day we have had here. We have had some campers rock-climbing, some caving, others went on a French excursion and a group went on a Via Ferrata session which was described as AWESOME! There was also some chilled activities happening on site with some fantastic tie-dying, a soccer competition, cool bracelet-making and even some slack-lining.
The campers are now ready for their 'WET n WILD' evening activity where there will be 6 different stations set up with activities like water balloon volleyball, water war and watersponge battleships. All the water will be welcome after the heat of the day!
Tomorrow the campers are all heading off to Aqualand where they will experience the joy of waterslides. Everyone is so excited I don't know will we be able to sleep tonight... Tune in tomorrow to find out!
- Breakfast: Delicious fresh pain au chocolat with a selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt accompanied by a choice of orange juice and apple juice
- Lunch: Packed picnic lunch and salad
- Dinner: Tonight we are starting with a combination of delicious lentil and beetroot salads. For the main course we have Chef Doug's Chicken a la King accompanied by a side of fresh carrots. For desert a scrumptious chocolate mousse to satisfy those sweet taste buds.
