Thursday at camp - town visit, talent prep, and disco!
Hey guys! Pebble here, just checking in for a quick update - the end of camp rollercoaster has well and truly left the gates, and we are flying by the seat of our pants!
After getting back from the Grand Descent and having a chill night, everyone had a well-deserved early sleep and got up for breakfast with a rousing wake-up song from Wildling and Pebble. After breakfast, everybody boarded the bus to head to the town of Vallon Pont d'Arc, where they had the chance to stock up on candy, gear, and souvenirs.
After coming back for a lunch in, the afternoon was dedicated to preparing their acts for the talent show tomorrow night. There will be song, dance, jokes, diabolos, and plenty more - I'm looking forward to it!
Everybody reconvened for dinner and a session of secret friends, before having an hour to prepare for what is underway right now - camp disco! The girls have put on makeup and the boys have gel in their hair, and when I last left the whole camp was line-dancing to the Macarena. Tomorrow we have a choice morning, with a VC Gymkhana in the afternoon, a Gala dinner by the river, talent show night, and then an end of camp movie. Stay tuned!

- Lunch: Quiche with bacon (veg/pork free available), salads, breads, olives, and pickles.
- Dinner: Beef chili-con-carne, with rice, salads, breads, olives and pickles
