The Reds Return!
There were lots of activities happening this morning with the return of our Red Adventure campers who yesterday hiked to the summit of Pic Chaussy (A whopping altitude of 2,351m!) and this morning woke up in the foggy peaceful hills of the Swiss Alps and after enjoying a delicious breakfast returned home for another day of adventure. The Blue Adventure group began preparing for their own hike while the Yellows strapped on their harnesses and put themselves to the test with a morning of Climbing at the Quarry. Back on camp, the Language students brushed up on their chosen language and STEM students continued their foray into the world of robotics.
In the afternoon, the Yellows took part in The Amazing Race, they searched the forest for our cleverly concealed counsellors and completed puzzles for the chance to win points for their teams!
In the Evening the Greens had a bedtime story read to them by a talking teddy bear and after a bunch of fun games it was time for them to settle in for the night with a big Greens only slumber party. The Reds jetted off to the Ice Skating rink and glided their way to the end of another great day, the Yellows spent the evening playing a football match and the Blues had a campfire and watched the sunset at Prafandaz.
- Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs, Toast, Cereal Buffet, Yoghurt, Fruit.
- Lunch: Potatoes Gratin with Chicken Breast, Broccoli and Vegetables. Pasta and Pesto/Tomato Sauce.
- Dinner: Cheese Pockets, Ratatouille, Pasta, Pesto Sauce and Salad Buffet. Apple Pie for Dessert.
