Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Excursion Day!
Today the camp woke up to a beautiful breakfast of fresh croissants and got ready for their excursions. The Greenies and Yellows headed the adventure park where they got to climb, slide, explore and try a bunch of different crazy rides. The Reds went to a chocolate factory where campers were taken on an interactive tour to learn the history behind some of Switzerland's most famous chocolate. They were also able to see the full process of chocolate-making and even taste-test a few chocolates themselves! All 3 groups were also able to go to the beautiful city of Vevey for some shopping. The Blues and LTC campers went to the Olympics museum to explore the history of the Olympics before heading to Laussane for some shopping and dinner. Then after dinner they headed to the bowling alley to smash down some pins before heading home. The evening was movie time for the Greens, Reds and Yellows who got to relax and enjoy some popcorn with their friends to end an adventurous day of camp.
- Breakfast: Croissants, Cereal Bar, Yoghurt.
- Lunch: Pack Lunch: Turkey ham and Beef Rolls, Chocolate Bar, Fruit.
- Dinner: Chicken/Vegetarian Curry with Rice / Pasta bar / Strawberry Cake
