Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Monday in the Mountains!
Another sunny fun-filled day in Leysin! The Greens joined the Yellow adventure campers today in lacing up their hiking shoes and setting off for their overnight trip to the "Pic Chaussy". After their big hike, they were treated to a delicious BBQ and a relaxing evening by the lake, roasting marshmallows and finally getting their rest in a rustic mountain hut.
In the afternoon, the Reds got to try a mix of mini golf, art, drama, bouldering, swimming and tennis and the Blues were outdoors with archery, basketball and climbing. The rest of the Yellows were also having fun in the hills this afternoon as they were rewarded with delicious freshly made ice cream & cheese after a short but challenging hike to a dairy farm in the mountains above Leysin.
As the evening rolled in so did the footballs as the Reds and Blues joined together in VC Leysin's World Cup. The campers split off into teams and competed against each other to see which team would become this summer's ultimate football world champions! Elsewhere, Yellow Campers said hello to a herd of cows as they made their way up to one of our favourite view points to see their day out with a few games, marshmellows and some relaxation.
- Breakfast: Pancakes, Cereal Buffet, Toast, Yogurt, Fruit and Fruit Juices
- Lunch: Meatballs with mashed potatoes, vegetables and fruit
- Dinner: Pizza Night! Pasta bar and Chocolate Ice cream
