Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Team Building with a Splash!
The Morning started off with some team building games among all the colour groups. The Yellow, Red and Blue Adventure journeyed down to the Suchet field where they played games like The Human Knot, Vortex, Hula Hoop Loop, Shrinking Island, Goal Setting, Zombie Dodgeball, Tarp Drop and Tight rope. There was chatter in the air, much laughter and a few falls with excitement and cheer amongst the campers, they all learned each others names and both big & small supported one another. The Football Camp kicked off with some warm ups and downs, and a jog around. The Kids got to show off some of their skills and after they all played a few matches, with their Coach and Captains guiding them, teaching them skills to defend and tackle better.
After a delicious lunch, The Raging Reds and The Big Blue activities was full of splashes and water fights, they played games such as BattleShips, Memorise the path, Sock Balance, and A Big Slip & Slide relay race! All the campers and counsellors were left soaking wet, cooling down on this hot and sunny day. They returned back to camp with smiles on their face and glee in their eyes.
The Evening was full of screams and laughter as the Greenies and Yellows, Races around the camp building running for their lives from each Terminator. As they searched for human life, some go caught out and were sent to prison, only to be rescued by the brave and courages, who attacked the terminators with sponges and received a code. While the Reds played Survival down in the Suchet, where wild critters lived deep in the forest. All of the reds got divided into the Food Chain and played a massive game of tag. There was the Black Fly's with 5 lives, the Green Frogs with 3 lives, the Blue Weasels with 2 lives, the Yellow Eagles with only 1 live and The T-Rex's, who are the biggest predators, that were able to steal anyones lives. All Animals had to run for their lives ( litterly) away from the higher predators. While there was also Natural Disasters ( Counsellors dressed in camouflage ) and Mother Earth, who they had to find in the forest to receive any lives. In the end it was the Animal Kingdom that lost and they shall pay the price...
But for tonight, it has been Monday Madness for the campers first day at Village Summer Camp.

- Lunch: Salad Buffet, Chicken wings, Country Potatoes, Carrots, Pasta Station, Veg option: Chickeriki, Fresh Fruits
- Dinner: Salad Buffet, Veg Spring Rolls, Jasmin Rice, Pasta Station, Chocolate Cake
