Let's Visit Around!
Today has been a day of travelling for all our campers as they went out of Leysin to explore the local culture, visit the lake side, visit adventure parks and do a lot of shopping!
Our Yellow and Green campers joined forces as they visited the Mall in Vevey in the morning! After a full session of shopping, they walked to Lake Geneva where they hanged out on the grass, run around and had lunch! In the afternoon, the Labyrinth Park was open to them! They were able to enjoy the Maze, trampolines, huge slides, many and many arcade games, football and so much more activities that the park had to offer.
The Reds had a morning of discovery at the Cailler Chocolate Factory where they got to know about the history of chocolate and obviously taste the different flavours that the museum had to offer! In the afternoon they had time to shop in Vevey and chill by the lake!
Our older groups, the Blues and the LTCs also traveled together to Lausanne to visit the Olympic Museum. The Olympic Games, with thousands of years of history definitely had many lessons to teach to our campers through the beautiful exhibitions of the museum! They later traveled to Montreux, to experience the last day of the famous Jazz Festival!
All the groups will be finishing their day with a relaxing movie night and will be resting for another exciting day tomorrow!
