Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
It's World Cup Day!
As we got into the second week, and after a relaxing weekend, it's time to turn the intensity up again!
Our Green and Yellow campers left this morning for their biggest camp adventure, the Mountain Hut hike, a day hike around our mountains and a night out with a campfire at the mountain hut!
The Red campers gathered in the Dell forest to learn how to build shelters in nature, out of natural material like wood and leaves or with the help of a tarp and ropes. In the afternoon they try out Tennis and Bouldering at the New Sports centre!
In the morning the Blues could choose between Rock Climbing or Mountain Biking! As some of them were scaling up the ''Quarry'' rig, an outdoor climbing rock complex, the others were going down the bike paths of Leysin, getting the chance to set their eyes on breathtaking views over the valley!
Tonight the campers are being divided in teams and competing against each other for our ''World Cup'' activity! They will be competing in Volleyball and Basketball at our intercamp competition!
- Breakfast: Continental Breakfast and Pancakes
- Lunch: Salad Buffet, Lasagna, Vegetable Bouquet, Pasta Station, Spinach Cannelloni, Fresh Fruit
- Dinner: Hot Dogs (and Vegetarian Hot Dogs), Onion Rings, Pasta Station, Salad Buffet, Doughnuts
