Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
International Night!
It is International Day and everyone is excited to find out more about the nationalities at our camp and their cultures!
For another adventurous morning, our Reds headed down to Aigle at the ''Adventure Park'' for ''High Ropes''. They climbed the trees and moved from one to another through trick bridges and obstacles! They had the chance to try out the long zipline of 200 meters and do the free fall jumps from the tower! The Blues campers got on the bus to go canyoning! They slid on the natural water slides, jumped from rocks in the river and managed to get through the whole canyon! The Greenies and Yellows stayed in Leysin and moved to the Suchet forest! With our counsellors guidance they practiced archery and they managed to hit bullseye plenty of times! They then moved deeper into the forest for ''Nightline''! Blindfolded, they could only use their hands to find their way along the ropes web that was set up into their forest!
In the afternoon all campers were split into different countries for an exploration activitity. They had to learn more about that country and come up with a skit to present tonight during International Night! Some campers headed down to the kitchen to help cook today's dinner according to recipes they had chosen! The campers tried out the different dishes during dinner!
During International Night, today's major event and evening activity, all campers presented their sketches to all the campers under a rain of applause! Interesting and hilarious skits about New Zealand and Australia, Greece, Australia and of course Greenland, the land of the Greenies were set up!

- Lunch: Salad Buffet, Chicken Filet, Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Veggies, Pasta Station, Fresh Fruit
