Sweet Monday at High Ropes

Today the LTC team woke up to a beautiful morning in Leysin.

Alfred came all the way from South Africa to speak about leadership and the skills a person needs to achieve it. Alfred's main points were that smiling is the best medicine, the power of forgiveness and the importance of "filling up your cup" He explained that smiling makes us live longer, happier lives, forgiveness is a choice and essential to feeling free and moving forward in life, and that a little overtask and filling your day is a good thing in order to remain challenged and fullfilled in life. After a lovely lunch we all went to the high ropes course down in Aigle for a very fun afternoon. For many of us, this was not only our first attempt at high ropes but also our first trip on the cog train down the mountain. There were a few slips and scrapes on the course but overall we had an amazing afternoon and were able to face fears of heights and of failure with great success and the encouragement of our new friends. The day then finished with a very competitive set up of mini olimpics!!!
