Rafting Day!

Today was a great day for the campers! In the morning, Mykee Fowlin performed an emotional presentation. One of the messages from his talk included understanding the difference between what you are supposed to do and what you need to do. Each camper was left feeling inspired by his words and the characters in his show. After lunch the campers left on the bus to go rafting! Everyone put on their wetsuits, grabbed a paddle and off we went down the roaring river! It was a beautiful day and all the campers enjoyed the challenging rapids! During the activity all campers were given the chance to have a swim in the refreshing water! The highly awaited evening activity included a powerful story from Kerry Max Cook. Kerry spent 22 years on death row in Texas for a crime he did not commit. His story included many important messages including the importance of forgiveness through understanding and to believe in yourself and never giving up on your dreams.
