Summer Camp LTC, Leysin

14th July 2015

Brain Psychology, Leysin Activity Challenge and Social Games

Today was a great day, both for weather and activities!

We began the day with Annette, a Canadian speaker presenting on brain psychology, deep breathing and self-awareness. We did several games and activities which worked on breathing in stressful situations and being aware of how our thoughts affect our bodies and vice versa.

Following a nice lunch, we began a village-wide scavenger hunt. Campers were given a list with 20 items of varying point values; the teams of six set out around town searching for fountains, local attractions, everyday items and an elusive cow and chicken.

After free-time and dinner, the campers played two games in groups of twelve or thirteen.

All in all, the day was tiring but very enjoyable for all involved.
