Summer Camp LTC, Leysin
Arrivals Day
The campers started arriving around 13.00, at which point they had the opportunity to create their own name tags and play some introductive games while waiting for the entire group to reach Leysin. The weather was beautiful, and as more and more kids had arrived in the afternoon we went to the pool to get refreshed and chill out on the grass with the mountain view. Then the counsellors had the chance to quickly show them around the village so as to get them familiar with the environment.
After dinner, that took place at 18.30, and some free time to unpack, the director, David Allen, welcomed them to the camp and together with the counsellors they presented the program rules for the amazing upcoming days. After this, they played several amusing icebreaker games which allowed them to get to know each other and enjoy their night. At 22.30 they were in their beds with the lights out, ready to get a good rest and charge their batteries for the exciting 2 weeks starting tomorrow!
