Summer Camp Paphos, Cyprus

8th July 2014

Written by campers...

Monday was a typical Village Camps day. We were woken up by the voices of our counsellors (who sometimes use water guns to wake us up). After getting ready, we all made our way to breakfast, hoping for a good day. Like usual, after breakfast, the campers went to their groups; the Mediterranean Adventure group went snorkeling at the beach or hiking at Aphrodite's Bath and the English students stayed behind to learn some new things.

After lunch, which was cooked by the wonderful Sylvia, we had our rest time where we relaxed with our friends.

Following the break, we all went to the activities that we had chosen in the morning. The campers departed to different activities which varied from rock climbing, canoeing to pool volley and pool games, etc. As soon as the activities were done, the campers went to their rooms to refresh for the fun night ahead. The theme of the evening activity was Carnival Night so everyone dressed up in a fancy way! At the carnival, we were divided into our groups with our roommates. We played games such as beach tennis, blow the flour, pin the tail on the donkey, etc. in order to earn points. When we were done with the games, we had a party by the pool and enjoyed the rest of the night with our amazing friends and counsellors!
