Obidos and the Ocean
Good day from Portugal!
Today the adventure campers were lucky to go on a most exciting daytrip to the medieval town of Obidos where we hiked along the city wall enclosing this most charming Portuguese town full of history. After a few historic facts the campers got some free time to walk around and explore the city and its many cute shops. A few went to the market that is going on because of the medieval festival that is taking place there all summer so we saw some unusual souvenirs as well as the usual magnets and postcards. Later that day we continued our journey to the Lagoon where the campers enjoyed a Pic Nic followed by Windsurf and Catamaran lessons. Through the help of the amazing instructors the campers learned how to work with the wind and make the most of their afternoon.
In the meantime the surfers enjoyed an exciting session of different sports like tennis and volleyball in the morning followed by their surf session in the afternoon that like yesterday also included some warm up yoga.
We were all reunited for dinner and after watching the football game the campers got into teams to participate in our Eggstreme games where its all about team work and great engineering skills.

- Breakfast: Cereal station, Banana cake, Yoghurt Cake, Scrambeled eggs, Ham and Cheese plates, Bread with butter and Jam and Banana Milkshake

- Dinner: Beef or vegetarian sausages with mashed potatoes, salad bar, bread and a jelly dessert
