Summer Camp Santa Cruz, Portugal
Last day and Prom!
And so the last day of camp has arrived and today we were officially completing our first session of Village Camps Portugal ever. Of course we made sure that this special day would be one to never be forgotten by the campers and so after we got the packing out of the way in the morning already, the campers spilt in half for a last session each of their chosen program. This meant that the surfers headed down to the beach to really give it their all one last time and the adventure group went to the Club Aventura close to Santa Cruz for a fun session including a zipline, archery, zorb balls and the highly popular waterslide.
They arrived back at the Pousada for a tasty late lunch and then we had an extended last all camp meeting to hand out the certificates and awards to the campers. Very proudly and happily they welcomed these awards and were celebrating each other???s successes with glee.
In the afternoon followed a picture frame workshop where everyone could expand their graffiti skills and then after dinner there was some time for the campers to get ready for the long awaited prom dance. This happened in our secret location and included the best music, disco lights and a fantastic atmosphere full of dancing, singing and lots and lots of smiles.
We are sad to see our campers go tomorrow but we wish them all the best for their future and hope to see them again next year!

- Dinner: Pasta and beef sauce, salad bar, soup of carrot, fruit salad
