From Santa Cruz to Obidos
Today was a truly an adventure day. The morning started with delicious breakfast and then it was time for the surfers to head to the beach and start battling the waves.
Adventure campers split into two groups and went on a exciting day trip. First group visited medieval town of Obidos where they walked along the city wall learning about historic facts of this historical town. After that they had time to walk around and explore little streets with cute local shops filled with interesting souvenirs. The other group started their morning activities in Lagoon doing some adventure windsurfing and catamaran lessons where they learned how to work with the wind. Surfers had their lunch in Pousada while adventures enjoyed their lunch picnic style in the nature.
After a relaxing lunch, groups swapped over and enjoyed the end of the afternoon doing activities. This year we changed things up and surfers got the chance to visit Obidos and learn something about history as well. When we came back it was time to eat dinner and head out to play eggstream games where it was all about team work and great 'eggineering' skills.
It's already late and we are ready to go to sleep..I think we will be dreaming about tomorrows adventures in...LISBON! Over and out from Santa Cruz.
