Summer Camp Santa Cruz, Portugal
What an adventurous day!
Good morning Santa Cruz!
Waking up this morning was a bit later than usual. The breakfast was served, so after beating the hunger it was time to pick up our lunch and head off to the adventures land.
Today we've had a very awesome day. Surfers have visited Bidos where they learned about Portuguese history and explored the walls of this small, but beautiful town. After exploring, campers were given some free time to feel the soul of the town and walk through beautiful streets which were filled with flowers and cute local shops.
Meanwhile, our adventurers went to Lisbon where they visited Adventure park. Campers were divided into two groups and did two very adventure activities. The first activity on the schedule was a laser tag that took place in a small part of the forest in the park. The second activity was high rope adventure where our campers faced their fears of height and overcame high ropes polygon with excellence.
After lunch, it was time for the surfers to head back to their second home called Praia de Santa Cruz and shred some waves. A day full of adventures did pass by quickly and it was already time to eat dinner and prepare ourselves for a movie night. Popcorn was ready, pillows and blankets were on the floor campers were in their comfy clothes and it was time to relax and enjoy movie called Goosebumps.
My gosh, what an adventuresome day we've had. Movie night came to an end and camp was ready to get an early night sleep because tomorrow it's time for our second day trip to the town which is home of the very famous Portuguese dolphins.
