Adventure time
Good and sunny morning Santa Cruz!
Wake up this morning was a bit later than usual. Hungry campers went down to the dinning room to get some breakfast and pick up their picnic lunch and headed off to seek new adventures.
Today we had a very special and awesome day filled with amazing activities. Surfers were the first to head down to the beach and catch waves on a beautiful sunny morning. As the session in coming to the end you can really see the progress our camper made while learning how to surf in Atlantic Ocean which is producing waves that are both beautiful but difficult. I can proudly say that we now have 24 new surfers!
After surfing session was over group devided into three small groups and campers had the oppusrtunity to go and visit Obidos or do long board danicing. Group that visited Obidos learned about Portuguese history and explored the walls of this small, but beautiful town. After exploring, campers were given some free time to feel the soul of the town and walk through beautiful streets which were filled with flowers and cute local shops.
Meanwhile, our adventurers went to Lisbon where they visited Adventure park. Their acitvity was high ropes. Camper faced their fears of height and overcame high ropes polygon with excellence and enjoyed their amazing morning.
A day full of adventures did pass by quickly and it was already time to eat dinner and prepare ourselves for the sunset beach party. When we gathered all the campers in front of Pousada we headed down the Priada de Santa Cruz and were greeted with a truly perfect sunset. I find it incredibly amazing how at every sunset, the sky is a different shade. No cloud is ever in the same place. Each day is a new masterpiece. A new wonder. A new memory. I would like to thank our campers for such a beautiful day. Campers were singing,playing guitar, some brave ones even went into the water and finished their camp day like never before.
My gosh, what an adventuresome day we've had.
It's time to get rest.
