A day full of variety with activities for all tastes
Today at Village Camps, the morning was a buzz with excitement as the campers eagerly chose from a multitude of activities. Football and volleyball matches ignited their competitive spirit, while the creative souls reveled in the art of pendulum painting. The brave souls joined an invigorating body combat session or embarked on a refreshing run. Laughter and camaraderie filled the air as each camper delved into the activities that spoke to their passions.
In the afternoon, ADV3 embraced their adventurous spirit, venturing into the wilderness to test their survival skills. ADV1 took to the streets on their trusty longboards, gliding through the scenery with grace and style. ADV2, with a sense of daring, entered the realm of the ocean, conquering the waves in an exhilarating surf session. Meanwhile, the surf campers, ever drawn to the rhythm of the sea, continued their quest for wave-riding perfection, improving their skills with each thrilling ride.
As the sun began to set, the campgrounds were transformed into a captivating tapestry of cultures during the highly anticipated International Night. What made this night even more special was that each group represented a country of a counselor. Portugal, Brazil, Czech Republic, Sweden, Croatia, Greece, and Canada took centre stage, delighting everyone with their vibrant costumes, traditional dances, and captivating presentations. The campers and counselors alike immersed themselves in the rich tapestry of global diversity, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for each other's cultures.
Amidst the jubilant celebration, bridges were built, friendships were strengthened, and a true sense of unity prevailed. The International Night served as a testament to the power of cultural exchange and the magic that happens when people from different backgrounds come together with open hearts and minds.
As the night drew to a close, the campers retired to their cozy quarters, their hearts filled with the joy of shared experiences, newfound knowledge, and an enduring appreciation for the beauty of our global community. Tomorrow promised another day of adventure and discovery, where the bonds forged during this memorable International Night would continue to shine brightly at Village Camps.
