Summer Camp Santa Cruz, Portugal
Last day of camp!
Today was a day of mixed emotions. A fun day for our campers but also the last day before departures. After breakfast our surfers went down to the beach for their last session with the coaches they've grown so found off. Of course they were amazing and made sure every minute in the water counted! The surf coaches brought out snacks and hung out for a bit to thank all of the campers for these amazing weeks.
When the surf class was over they got on a bus to come pick up the adventurers at camp so we could all go spend the afternoon together. Our destination was a trampoline park!
The park had all kinds of games a teenager could wish for, basketball hoops, a football goal, huge trampolines, a dodgeball court and a huge airbag they could jump into.
After an amazing dinner it was time for a proper goodbye disco. We decorated the garage with glitter and sparkles and all of the campers put on their best outfits and headed downstairs to dance away to the music of our amazing Dj. The campers were dancing like there was no tomorrow!
Quote of the day: When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It's to enjoy each step along the way.
- Breakfast: Pancakes, cereal with yoghurt, bread with jam, cheese and turkey.
- Lunch: Lasagna and Risois with potatoes or rice.
- Dinner: Hot dogs with salad, mustard, tomato, mayo and potatoe strips.
