Summer Camp Santa Cruz, Portugal
Welcome to Portugal!!!
This late afternoon, campers began arriving at our beautiful Pousada here in Santa Cruz, some flying in from across the globe, others driven in from nearby.
Once checked-in with Tjaša and Victoria, they headed upstairs to unpack and meet their new roomies. Once settled, they came downstairs to mingle with the rest of the campers. For some, it was a joyful reunion; for others, a chance to meet new faces.
Once everyone had arrived, campers were split up into groups and introduced to their counsellors. After dinner, we gathered for an all camp meeting where the director, Renato, explained the main rules and expectations here in the Pousada and at Village Camps.
Then, campers rejoined their counsellor groups and went on a guided tour of the Pousada.
Now, it’s time for the campers to head to bed and rest for tomorrow's exciting first day of activities!
