Summer Camp VDC Geneva

Day 4 at Village Camps

Another sunny morning, as the campers arrive ready for their new adventures. The 5s and the 7s all went to the pool to splash around and learn a few strokes and tricks. The 4s went to discover the magic of the botanical gardens, and the 6s went to make some delicious bread and play in the wonderful playground at Signal de Bougy. Bowling was the pastime of the 9s this afternoon, and the SA1s got to test the lake waters on their nifty kayaks. The SC1s joined the 6s in Signal de Bougy, but there was no bread-making for them. Instead, they did a bit of putting at the mini-golf and they went swinging from tree to tree on the ropes course.

At camp some of the intermediates tested out the jungle gym across the road, where they climbed, played and ran, while other groups went to the Luna field and gymnastics. Hats were made in Arts and Crafts, as the campers patiently wait to see the mugs they made this week. And of course, many groups went to dance, music and drama to learn all about the performing arts.

So much was going on at camp again today! We really hope all the campers and staff get a chance to rest tonight, for tomorrow will be yet another busy and exciting day here at Village Camps!
