Summer Camp VDC Geneva
Day 2 of Super Summer Camp
A full day of activities and excursions for the campers today as most of them were away on trips. The 4s went on a boat trip from Coppet to Nyon. They had a brilliant time, watching how the boat moved forward with a waterwheel. The 5s stayed on camp and messed around with their counselors, doing a lot of gym, sport and arts and crafts. The 6s went, for the first time this session, to the indoor pool at Bassins and then had a wild time at the zoo in Le Vaud. The 7s stayed at camp and got to see a wide range of specialists. Some even went to the jungle gym. The 8s and 9s went to Trelex to find the magical fairies, discovering their homes and even building some huts for the homeless fairies.
The SA1s went to Signal, climbing high above the ground on a ropes course, swinging like Tarzan from tree to tree. SA2 met some cows high up in the mountains while hiking up the Jura. SB1 then took to the water and went kayaking on Lac Leman, splashing each other until they were soaked to the bone. And finally SC1 had a relaxing afternoon at Nyon pool. All campers had a super duper time, on and off camp!
