Summer Camp VDC Geneva
Welcome to Session 3 of VDC!
Session 3 got off to a wet and rainy start but, despite the weather, it wasn't enough to dampen the spirits of the campers and the counsellors alike! Excitement was high as counsellors and campers got to know their new group and as they waited to start off a jammed packed day full of activities.
Nick, our director, officially opened the Session by welcoming everyone to camp and introducing our specilist counsellors. We had a whole camp competition on who could shout "Bonjour" louder - It is safe to say that it was a tie! Jordynn, our Mini Arts and Crafts Specialist ended the camp meeting with a brilliant song called Rickey-Ticky-Ta-Ta. Ask your children tonight for your own performance!
The rest of the day saw the groups spending time getting to know each other, and also participating in different activities around the camp - dance, drama, sports, gymnastics, bingo, drawing, six square, painting, crafts and music. We also had our very own version of the Olympic Games to get the team spirit going in all our groups!
