Summer Camp VDC Geneva

31st July 2013

Another Fine Sunny Village Camp Day!

There were blue skies and a nice breeze blowing over camp today keeping it nice and cool as the campers went about their activities, having fun all the way.

The 7s, 8s, SA1 and SA2 went to the pool in Nyon for half a day where they mostly chilled out but also learned some different swimming strokes, SB1 were lucky enough to be able to go kayaking in Chambesy and in the afternoon, SA2 and SC1 went bowling.

On campus we had all sorts of wonderful performances and the children's creativity was certainly on show. No where else was that better visible than in Arts & Crafts where the children put the finishing touches to their Dreamweavers they've been making. The detail in some was very impressive. In Dance, they an through their routines again before the big day on Friday; in Music, they played on the keyboards and had a little film music quiz; in Drama, they had lots of tiny skits putting the last week of learning to the test with very funny results!

We are gearing up towards Friday. We know that you are all really going to enjoy watching all the effort the children have put in.

It's going back to being very warm tomorrow so make sure sun cream and water bottles are packed. See you then!
