A Beautiful First Day at Camp
Today was a very busy day in Piesendorf!
Each specialty camp (English & German Language, Film, and Adventure Camp) had a packed schedule and everyone was kept playing and exploring the entire day. After a delicious breakfast in the Austrian sunshine, each camp separated off into their own groups. German and English language students learned fun new games, and adventure campers went off to kayak, rock climb, and learn archery. Film students were taught new and exciting ways to develop story lines and invent film plots.
With activities such as soccer, mini golf, ropes course, and a trip to the swimming pool in the afternoon, campers were having fun from dawn until dusk. Then, in the evening, everyone took a trip down to the soccer field to play team building games and get to know their fellow campers!! The games ended in laughter and many exhausted campers.
It was a BEAUTIFUL first day in Austria, and now it is time for the next!
