Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria

4th July 2013

Rain, Please Stay Away

And yet another spectacular day in Austria!
After a delicious breakfast, each different camp got straight to having fun. German and English campers played games and learned about giving and receiving commands. The German class went on a tour/scavenger hunt around Piesendorf, and English campers played Zombie Dodge ball, using their new language skills. Thankfully the rain held out while some went on a hike/treasure hunt to search for "Dragon Eggs" in the hills surrounding camp. There were also team building activities, rock climbing, and archery in the morning session, and Film campers worked hard on their cinematic masterpieces.

Afternoon at camp was just as busy as the morning. In honor of the Independence Day of the United States (Happy 4th of July!), some campers joined in for a game of American football. Others choose to play beach volleyball, table tennis, tennis, or do team building and ropes courses with their friends.

Unfortunately, the rain decided to come at night. Luckily, there was a fun night of indoor games planned: Family Feud, Cranium, and Scattegories. Proof that just as much fun can be had inside as outside!
