Spotlight on: English Language Camp
One of the specific camps that is offered here at Village Camps Austria is English Language Camp. Each day, campers have three hours of English instruction before afternoon activities. Campers write poems, play games, learn camp-related vocabulary, and even went on a tour of a local natural history museum. Sometimes lessons even extend to the outdoors, where campers get to explore their beautiful surroundings and learn related vocabulary. This summer, our English Language Teacher is Meg, who comes from Michigan in the United States, but lives in Spain teaching English as well.
The afternoon was filled with volleyball, arts & crafts, basketball, soccer, and then THE POOL! After sun and fun, tonight's activity was a very intense game of Stock Market. There was a Stock Market crash, a arrest for insider trading, and a Ponzi Scheme.
