Excursion to Salzburg!
And yet another amazing excursion day! After breakfast, everyone packed a sack lunch and hopped on the bus to Salzburg and then onto Hellbrunn Palace for a day of sightseeing and shopping. The first stop was the city of Salzburg, where campers had a chance to explore the city, do some shopping, and buy souvenirs. After Salzburg, the whole group headed to Hellbrunn Palace, once a summer residence of an Archbishop in Salzburg. The gardens are filled with beautiful flowers, green grass, parks, and not to mention, the famous "trick" water fountains. The grounds are a water park, filled with hidden trick fountains that spray out from the ground, walls, and even the tables.
Tonight's activity was VC Creations!! Using just 5 items from their rooms, campers worked with their teammates to come up with creative inventions to earn points.
