Salzburg
Hi everyone, today was the big trip day when all the campers went to Salzburg. Everyone talked about this excursion since the arrival day, so it really was a special event. In the morning we all woke up as usual, had our breakfast, packed the lunch and then left for the adventures. At first yellows and reds went to Schloss Hellabrunn - it is a castle and a park, in which some scenes from Sound of Music were filmed. The special part of this was the magical hidden fountains which start working at the most unexpected moments. Some campers got surprised, but some refreshment in this hot day was exactly what was needed. After this everyone had free time for SHOPPING. Clothes, souvenirs, presents for the family or just some snacks - anything for everyone.
Blues had a bit different trip - they went to Mirabell Park and walked around there, after which, they met reds and yellows for the shopping experience. The special part of the Salzburg experience came in the evening - blues went to the bowling and had some dinner there. Special privileges of being an older camper.
In the evening yellows played EGGstream games which basically means team building and strategy. Reds, meanwhile, had Trivia night and they also needed to solve a mystery of how to return our Camp Director Paul back to the camp.
