Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria
International Tuesday
Today we had the most international day that could ever happen during the second camp session. In the morning as always our campers were doing their specific activities based on the program that they were signed in. Film camp was editing, editing and editing again because soon we will have our famous Camp Film Festival! Mountain and lake adventure campers were doing climbing, geocaching, SUPing, archery and survival.
In the afternoon the whole camp started to prepare for the evening activity - International night. All our campers were divided into different groups that were representing different countries of the world - Central Europe, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Arab nations, Asia, both Americas, Oceania, Nordic Nations. Each group had to do a special performance that could include singing, dancing, fun facts sharing, games and more and more things.
Today’s dinner was truly international and was prepared thanks to some of our campers and management staff. We all had a great opportunity to try national dishes from different countries. That was unbelievably good!
- Breakfast: Oatmeal with cinnamon, cereals, chocolate musli, milk, hot chocolate, tomatoes, butter, cheese, bread, strawberry / raspberry jams
- Lunch: Chilli con carne, polenta, salad bar, fruits, chocolate mousse
- Dinner: International menu - pizza, humus, sandwiches, vegetable soup, pancakes, plov
