Sneaky Squirrels and Glacier Swimmers!
Tuesday at Village Camps Austria we began with swim and bike tests for the Yellow and Red groups, and alongside that we ran activities such as adventure hunt and activity park. Our Learn to Lead session had a special guest today—Phoebe, an inspiring speaker from England! She shared her personal journey of launching a dance-performing business at just 17, how she overcame her fears, and even led a workshop on advertising skills.
In the afternoon, we headed to the beautiful Sigmund Thun Klamm gorge, where campers were amazed by the astonishing views. The bravest even tested their endurance by swimming in a glacier lake—so refreshing!
For the evening activity, we organized a fun game called “Squirrels”. Campers were divided into teams, and their mission was to steal straws and bring them back without being caught. So much excitement and laughter all around!
