July the Fifth

Today Activity Groups 1 & 2 got up quite early to go all day canyoning with Julien, Megan and canyoning guides. We climbed, jumped over & between, slid down natural water slides [rocks], swam through, abseiled down gigantic rocks and boulders. And we drank as much water as we could because it was sooooooooooooo hot out!

After French class in the morning, the French Group went to tackle a high ropes course with Caveman, Jennie, Willy, Brian and Melinda. We used pulleys and carabiners to make our way back and forth through the trees. We climbed, flew, dangled and yelled like Tarzan.

After diner we were introduced to some creatures that depend on the ecosystem of the river for survival... Carl Caveman, Brenda the Beaver, Boris the Bear, Priscilla Papillon, Sammy the Snake and Timmy Trout. Unfortunately one of them has damaged the environment surrounding the river. Who, with what and where was this Eco Murder performed? We need to solve this mystery before it's too late.

Lunch: Bagged Sandwiches or Fish Cakes + Salad
Dinner: Pasta Bolognese, Salad, Chocolate Pudding
