Summer Camp Leysin, Switzerland
Wild Wednesday
This morning the Red Adventure campers got ready for the over night hike at Pic Chaussy, where they hiked to the top of the mountain and spent their afternoon jumping into the lake and finishing with a bbq and camp fire. The Blue Adventure campers went down to the Suchet for "Forest Fun" whilst the STEM robotics campers spent their morning building and coding their own safe and creating a secret code to unlock it.
In the afternoon, the Reds and Blues joined their sign up teams in rock climbing, beach volleyball, tennis, football, archery and more while the Yellows had "The Amazing Race" where they split into groups and competed to find the counsellors who were camouflaged in the forest. After finding a counsellor they were given challenges to complete which tested their brain, brawn and agility.
In the Evening the Greens and Yellows had a visit from a very familiar looking zoo keeper but just as they arrived someone let all the animals escape! It was up to our clever Greens and Yellows to capture all the animals and solve their puzzles to return them all to their rightful place. Elsewhere the Reds settled down by the Campfire for a relaxing evening of roasting marshmallows and soaking in the stunning views while the Blues went ice-skating.
- Breakfast: French toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit juice.
- Lunch: Honey Soy chicken skewers with Rice. Mixed vegetables, Macaroni and Bolognese sauce
- Dinner: Chicken kievs with fried potatoes and creamed spinach, pasta and salad buffet. Donuts for dessert.
