United Nations Showdown
The Campers woke up in the misty mountains, ready to learn, play, explore and experience all that VC Leysin has to offer!
STEM and Languages all worked hard and dressed in colourful costumes to make their end-of-session videos for Friday's Finale! Football and Tennis camps saw our Campers show off the new skills that they acquired over the past two weeks!
The main event of the day was the eagerly anticipated United Nations Capture the flag game! The Campers were sorted into their chosen countries for the upcoming International Night. War paint was applied, and motivational words were exchanged before the campers were let loose in the forest to battle it out!
Our adventurous Greenies returned from their overnight hike, and after de-prepping they spent the rest of the day playing Mini Golf and the super fun Spy Kids game! In Spy Kids, the Greenies have to rescue a kidnapped Counsellor by finding clues and beating challenging obstacles like a laser corridor!
The thrill-seekers Yellows found their calling at the High Ropes Adventure. Scaling heights and navigating rope courses, campers conquered their fears while building camaraderie with fellow adventurers. The Yellows, along with the Reds and Blues then joined their International Night country groups to either prepare for International Night by practising skits, dances, food and more, or playing the United Nations Capture The Flag game! Among the highlights of the day for the Yellows was the evening's activity: an epic quest of Zing Tong. Working collaboratively, campers solved puzzles and sought hidden gold to rescue a princess!
The Reds and Blues joined forces for the morning "Fire" activity as well as United Nations and International Night prep! They eventually parted for their different evening activities. Reds went into the forest for Murder Mystery, while the Blues glided around the rink in Ice Skating!
