Summer Camp LTC, Leysin
Day Three.
Day three was kicked off by an insightful talk titled 'you don't know me, until you know me' presented by Dr Michael Fowlin. This was something that the campers really embraced and took a lot from.
Following this we walked down through the town of Leysin and split into two groups. One group's activity was to participate in an exciting and vigorous parkour course, with stations stagnated throught out the forest. This was no ordinary course however, as each station was presented with a challenge team building task. The campers however, were not phased by the challenge and thrived in each activity.
Whilst all this was going on, the other team branched off to participate in outdoor bobsledding, complete with authentic Jamaican bobsled. Here the campers really had to apply both their leadership and team skills in order to successfully get everyone in the bobled and down the track safely. It's fair to say the campers appeared to be naturals at it, providing great confidence and therefore an abundance of smiles.
The evening gave the campers the opportunity to apply their creative side, during a song writing session!
All in all, another beautiful, sunny and action packed day in Leysin.
