Adventures in Problem Solving and the Importance of Teamwork

We awoke to a cool and overcast morning here in Leysin. After a typical Swiss breakfast we headed down to the village to our offsite lecture hall, where we were met by today's speaker, Mr. Rob. He kept us engaged with problem solving activities including moving our entire group through a two foot hole in a large sheet of paper about four feet from the ground, an entrepreneurship exercise requiring that we develop new and creative uses for common items, and real life examples in property development and management.

After lunch we loaded onto the bus for a scenic ride to the site of our afternoon activity, white water rafting! Everyone worked together and each raft successfully navigated our course without a single person falling overboard! We even had the chance to hop out of the rafts for a few moments to enjoy the glacial waters.

We arrived back to Leysin just in time for dinner followed by a short period of relaxation prior to an evening of playing Mafia and Charades.
