Summer Camp LTC, Leysin

27th July 2016

Presentations, Adventures and Fun!

This morning, during Mr Lee s second session, the kids, one by one, had to make a 1-3min presentation about something that they are passionate about. The entire group could then comment and give their feedback upon the content as well as the presentation techniques of each person. All these, of course, under the experienced eyes of Mr Lee Jackson, who was there ready to motivate all the speakers and give them his advice.
The afternoon activity was the very awaited canyoning! Canyoning is an activity during which you wade and drift down the river and at certain points you climb and jump off of cliffs varying from 3 to 9 metres in height. Again, experienced river guides guided the course down the river and designated areas safe for jumps. All kids were very impressive with their capacities and courage, and they enjoyed this experience a lot, in a canyon of unique beauty.
But the activities in our camp never end! After dinner and after a heavy but short storm, a rainbow appeared as we headed to the Old Sports Centre and the Patinoire for an evening full of ice-skating. More and less experienced ice-skaters were helping each other in a very warm and enjoyable way and we all had a very nice evening. Another beautiful and very full day came to its end as we???re heading towards the end of the camp so quickly. . .
