Greetings from Leysin!
Welcome to the highly anticipated Arrival Day at Village Camps Leadership Training Camp (LTC) for 2023! After months of meticulous planning and preparation, we are thrilled to announce that the momentous day has finally arrived. The first session of Arrivals Day in Leysin is now underway, and we are delighted to have all 28 LTC students safely present at Camp.
The air is buzzing with excitement as LTC Camp Leader David, accompanied by counsellors Noelle, Sanri, Dominic, Ellie and Madeline imparts valuable information about the camp's rules and protocols. The students are eagerly absorbing the instructions and guidelines, setting the stage for a successful and enriching LTC experience.
In the evening, the LTC students actively engaged in icebreaker events carefully curated to foster strong connections among them. These enjoyable activities are designed to enhance camaraderie, boost confidence, and establish a solid foundation for their journey ahead.
Considering the students' travel fatigue from today's journey and the action-packed day awaiting them tomorrow, we have arranged for an earlier bedtime tonight. This restful night's sleep will ensure that they are well-rested and energised to embark on an exciting day brimming with adventures and growth opportunities tomorrow.
