Summer Camp Paphos, Cyprus
Prom Night!!! And time to say Goodbyes....
All great things come to end and so did Village Camps Cyprus 2014....today was the last day of the session and it was a busy one. Campers participated normally in their morning programmes while the distribution of completion certificates & awards also took place in both the English Language and the Mediterranean Adventure Camp. The last all-camp meeting was a very special one with some emotional moments and lots of laughs, at the end of the meeting all campers and counsellors ended-up in the swimming pool (with their clothes on!) having a blast!
Later on, it was time to start the suitcase packing process for departure day and to prepare for the much-awaited Prom Night. Every single one of our campers looked wonderful in the pre-prom group photos taken in the beautiful garden of the Palates Hotel. The dinner was hosted at a village tavern, specially decorated by the staff and including some great dishes. After dinner it was time to announce the winners (through voting) for the Village Camps Cyprus 2014 King and Queen, super congratulations to Owen and Alisa!
Dancing, dancing and more dancing was the theme for the rest of the night that ended smoothly but with many teary eyes as it was time for the goodbyes...thank you Cyprus it has been truly an amazing and unforgettable summer!
