Summer Camp VDC Geneva
On your marks, get set, GO!!
Hello campers and parents!! Today we had a great day at camp soaking up the sun. It was really hot and humid, so we told the campers to drink loads of water and squirt sun cream everywhere. There were some groups who had gym today, playing some basketball and out-shooting the counsellors. There was a trip to Signal de Bougy with the 4s and 7s who had bucket loads of fun messing around on the jungle gym. They even visited the goats and the newborn ducklings. After they had their fun on the jungle gyms, the 7s went for a round of mini-golf and the 4s made their very own bread. The 5s went to the indoor pool and paid a quick visit to the zoo to see all the magnificent creatures. The highlight was the giant lizard! The 6s went on a boat trip, laughing with enjoyment at the big cogs and wheels inside the boat. The 8s had a very relaxing afternoon by the pool, especially because it was so hot. Most of them jumped straight into the pool as soon as they got there. The 9s had a relaxed day at camp, doing activities like Luna sports, gym, music and dance.
The seniors had an amazing day today with SC1 and SA1 going down to Gland to knock over some pins at the alley. There were many pins flying in all directions and even some strikes. SA2 went to the lake to go kayaking. There was a lot of splashing going on!
