Summer Camp VDC Geneva
Marvellous Monday
The final week of VC 2012 started off with a bang! Most importantly, we gave a big Village Camp Welcome to all of our new children. We hope they'll have a very happy week at camp. Before we knew it, it was 9:30am, and the children were either starting their first activity of the morning, or getting onto a bus to head off for an excursion. The 5s spent a relaxed morning at the Jardin Botanique checking out the different plants and animals - the flamingos proved to be very popular! - while the 8s were busy first playing minigolf and then bowling in the afternoon.
In Arts and Crafts, campers were busy completing their papier mache creations, making birds (in mini A&C), and both groups started decorating their frames for their group photos. When playing sports, everyone appreciated a slight drop in temperatures - it meant the children could run even further! In Dance, Drama and Music the children were all working hard preparing for Special Day. There is a letter going home today inviting parents to our Special Day Extravaganza so please keep an eye out for it in your child's bag! We hope you can make it!
