Summer Camp VDC Geneva
Another fantastic day at Village Day Camps!
What a fabulous day! The count down to special day was really on - everywhere we turned there were children practicing dance moves, singing "Be Our Guest" (from Beauty and the Beast) and doing various dramatic interpretations of Disney Characters. There might even be some Hercules gymnastic moves. With all of this hard work, it is hard to believe that the children also found time to participate in all other aspects of camp life - but they did!
The senior groups were busy on campus - gymnastics, indoor games, outdoor relay races, and there were even the odd six square competitions. SA2 were at the bowling alley this afternoon. The intermediates went to the pool, trekked through Trelex and worked on their jumping and balancing skills. Minicampers were also swimming - the 6s in Nyon Pool during the afternoon and the 4s were at the indoor pool during the morning. The 4s then went to visit the Zoo de la Garenne - where they had a picnic. The wolves proved to be the most popular animal, although a few of the counsellors thought they were pretty scary!
