Summer Camp VDC Geneva

6th August 2013

A Very Sunny Second Day

It was again a very sunny day at Day Camp as most groups had the opportunity to go off campus on excursions. SA1 and SA2 went to Signal de Bougy for the day and had a lot of fun playing mini golf and swinging on the ropes between the trees. The 8s and 9s went to Trelex to build houses for the fairies, the 4s went on a boat ride from Coppet to Nyon and the 6s, SB1 and SC1 went to the pool to chill out and cool off. The SC1s were lucky as they got to go bowling in the afternoon too. Not a bad day at all for the campers in that group!

On campus, the sports specialists turned their hand at organizing a game of quick cricket which the children grasped quickly and scored a lot of runs. In music, they tried their skills on the keyboards. In dance they got a feel for some of the moves they'll be working on over the next couple of weeks.

The weather looks like it will rain for the majority of the day tomorrow so pool people can expect to go to the indoor pool instead whilst everyone else will be on campus.

See you all tomorrow Campers!
