Summer Camp VDC Geneva
A fine start to the last week at Village Day Camp.
We are into the last week of Village Day Camp here in Coppet and we continued with the excellent sunny weather we've been having. Almost everyone stayed on campus today apart for the 9s and SC1 who enjoyed splashing about in Nyon pool and SC1 who got to go kayaking in the aternoon.
At camp, groups have already started practicing for the Special Day performance for the parents. The Dance and Drama specialists combined their lessons in the afternoon for the younger ones. In Music they tried coming up with their own percussion in groups and sand through the songs for Friday.
In Arts and Crafts the younger ones had fun making picture frames and frogs out of paper plates. Luna Field was the setting for many different games including a version of volleyball for the young ones and tag for he older ones. In Gym, Abbey helped them with their balance and technique on the high beam and the rings.
A great start to the last week and its going to be just as hot over the next two days, so don't forget to pack some sun screen and a bottle for water.
