Summer Camp VDC Geneva
9th August 2013
One week left for Village Day Camp
We are half way through the final session and all the kids have been really enjoying themselves. The rain stopped but it remained at a nice cool
temperature.
The 9s and SC1 got to go play golf and swing on the ropes at Signal de Bougey. They also had time to take some pretty cool photos I'm sure you'll agree!
The 7s and the two SA groups went to lounge down by the pool. The 7s also went bowling in the afternoon. The 5s went to take a boat ride in the morning
from Coppet over to Nyon and have a play on the jungle gym afterwards.
On campus, the mini campers were very excited because they got to make play-doh! They did this with water, flour, salt and colouring. They also had a
fantastic time during music moving along to Lucy's violin playing. The other groups practiced their song Yellow Submarine by the Beatles in preparation for
next weeks show. Maham helped the groups to bring the various moves they'd learned together into a routine and it was smiles all round.
Next week its looking like the temperatures will creep back up in the mid-20's and there are no more rainy days forecast.
We've had a great week here and we can't wait to start again next week. Have a wonderful, relaxing weekend campers!
