Summer Camp Zell am See, Austria

Beginning of the Second Week!

Today the campers got back into the swing of things by doing their different programs.

The film campers were seen all over camp in a variety of costumes with extras being told what to do. There movies will be viewed in two days, so all of the film campers are hurrying to finish their films in time.

The language camps got back into the classrooms to continue working on English and German. Many campers over the weekend expressed how much they enjoyed their language classes, so they were very happy to be learning more today.

The activity campers were all over the place today. The yellows played beach volleyball and then went to the pool to swim. The blues biked all the way to Zell am See and the reds went out on the lake to paddle on a board standing up.

Lunch was a warm filling pasta with a creamy sauce and chicken on top. The campers ate it all up before going off to their various adventures. The blues went to a small roller coaster park not far from camp where they enjoyed fast paced rides. The yellows went to the lake to be pulled by a speed boat on the banana boats. The all had a fantastic time and the reds stayed at camp taking part in ultimate frisbee, soccer, archery and volleyball.

Dinner brought a nice surprise of pancakes which put the campers in a good mood for their evening activities. The blues got to do a game based on the amazing race television show. They ran all over Piesendorf trying to beat the other teams to the final challenge. The reds and yellows hiked down to the soccer pitch where they played a game called Squirrels. There the campers had to try and deposit their "acorns" before a counselor tagged them out. The campers had a little bit of a challenge following the rules, but they still had a fantastic time before they were sent off to bed.
